Spent a few days out at Flat Black Studios with the Dead Emperors as they worked on their upcoming record. Shooting in a recording studio is always a blast, especially working with a band like this. They were working on recording their third record and were kind enough to invite me in to capture the recording process. I was there for two days and shot a mix of film and digital. The first day was mostly digital as we all were getting comfortable in the studio. After they wrapped up recording for the the day, we headed outside to get some group shots. I was happy that we had the time to do a few on film. Stay tuned, I will be posting the film shots in another post!
